We have a 68-minute Audio CD to accompany this issue!

Welcome to the January/February 2012 issue of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. This issue features Jack Pearson on the cover. Jack is well known in the blues and rock worlds, having toured with the Allman Brothers in the 1990s, however, he is out playing acoustic guitar these days and performing with bluegrass artists. This is the guitar player who David Grier says is "The best guitar player in Nashville." Additionally, this issue features Al Smith, of Jasper, Georgia, and Nick DiSebastian, who recently finished his degree at Berklee and is still living and performing in Boston. We also feature a story on Schenk Guitars in this issue and, as always, our regular contributors give you a lot of great material to practice. We hope that you will enjoy this issue of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine.
