Description

Welcome to the September/October 2013 edition of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. This issue is Volume 17, Number 6 of the magazine where we feature Carl Jackson on the cover. In addition to presenting Carl's long and distinguished career, we also discuss Carl's new solo guitar gospel project "Grace Notes." In this issue we also feature, Elliott Rogers, a picker from Texas and the guitar player in The Alan Munde Gazette. Additionally, we highlight a CD by The Rigneys, a Tennessee-base family band featuring Andrew Rigney on the guitar. We also include a feature on John Baxendale guitars. Our regular columnists also have a lot of great tunes, many of them from the Gospel tradition, for you to learn in this issue, so pull out those guitars because it's time to pick! I hope that everyone enjoys this issue!
