Description

Welcome to the November/December 2013 edition of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. This is Volume 18, Number 1 of the magazine and features Joey McKenzie of The Quebe Sisters Band on the cover and some of Joey's great Western swing back up. Additionally, we highlight Michael Daves who has recorded and toured in a duo with Chris Thile. Michael, originally from Atlanta, is now living in New York City. We also feature David Keenan a multi-instrumentalist from Seattle who was one of the flatpicking instructors at this summer's Steve Kaufman Acoustic Music Kamp. Of course, our regular contributors are also on board to provide you with some exercises and tunes to keep you busy in the coming months. Get those guitars out, its time to pick! We hope that everyone enjoys this issue!
