Welcome to the November/December 2014 of Flatpicking
Guitar Magazine.  WIth this issue we begin
our 19th year of publication and we are honored to have Herb Pedersen on our
cover.  Additionally, we feature Chicago-based alt-country veteran Robbie
Fulks as well as Dan Boner, who in addition to being a great flatpicking guitar
player is also the head of the bluegrass and old-time music program at East
Tennessee State University.  Our regular cast of columnists also have some
great tunes to take you into a great winter of woodshedding with your
guitar.  So, get tuned up, it is time to start picking!  We hope you
